SEO Copywriting: How To Choose Article Marketing Topics To Achieve Maximum Exposure

Articles written for article marketing purposes are meant to be informative and useful.Articles that are overly or blatantly self-promotional will almost always be rejected.People reading articles want to learn something useful, not a marketing pitch.

One concern I hear from clients regularly is "why should I publish articles that don't promote ME specifically?" That's a logical question. It may seem counterproductive to expend energy writing generalized articles that aren't outright selling your product.

How Article Marketing Benefits You And Your Business

There are many benefits of an article written solely for marketing purposes:

- Backlinks to your site in the "about the author" from every site that republishes the article
- Helps to establish you as an authority on the topic
- A well-written article on a general topic can "sell" the reader on need for the product.

Once a need for the product has been established, your is right in the footer to provide the solution

Choosing Topics For Article Marketing Articles

One of the most common mistakes I see companies make when writing articles for article marketing is their choice of topic.

Oftentimes, they choose to write articles about themselves rather than articles that are genuinely useful to the target audience.

In an age where search engines rule, the rules of marketing have changed.Search engines don't offer visibility in the natural search engine rankings to companies who are the most promotional. They provide greater visibility to those who are most useful to the population of search engine users.

Your article topic should be useful and informative to a general audience - and not outwardly promote your company or services.

Article topics can be:

- How To.

..
- 3 Ways To...
- Comparisons of 3 or more different products/solutions
- 3 Things to Consider Before.
..
- 4 Reasons Why...
- A Unique Solution for...
- A Guide to...
- X vs.Y: Which is Right for You?

Just because a topic is not outwardly promotional does not mean that is does not create a need for your product or service!A great article topic is one that builds up a need for the type of product or service that the client provides - without specifically mentioning the client in body of the article.

For example, I read a great article the other day about how to design an effective trade show display.Realizing that I did not have the skills nor the desire to learn the skills necessary to build a professional trade show display, I followed the link at the bottom to visit the author's website.

How to articles work great for this reason - especially for service businesses. Many web surfers think that they can do something themselves so search for a "how to" solution. However, after discovering how complicated or involved the process can be, they may decide just to hire a professional. And hey - there's a link to an expert right at the bottom of the article!

Writing The Title

Once you have chosen a topic for the article, it is important to write a title that is equally as effective.

The title should contain the keywords you are targeting in your overall marketing campaign whenever possible.Article titles often become the title tag or URL of the web page. This means that search engines are going to use them to determine the topic of the content and how to rank the page.

The title tag also often appears on a search engine's results page as the dark blue title of the page. This will essentially be what readers use to decide if they are going to click through and read your entire article or not. That is why it is important in article marketing to write titles that are compelling and attractive to readers as well as containing keywords.

Writing an article that is objective, informative and contains a captivating title will ensure that it's accepted by both distribution sites and readers alike.Article marketing as part of an overall link building campaign can be extremely effective -- when done correctly!

Visitors who show up and leave 3 seconds later arent generally helpful,so you definitely want to lower your bounce rate.Visitors who do not visit again if they do not like the website, can mean the difference between success and failure of an online business. Therefore it is important to create a website which will be instantly liked by visitors. When a person returns to a website, it means the person finds it appealing and delivers the type of service it promises.

Search engines like google,Yahoo and MSN favour sites that have lots of inbound links, these links are classed as votes for your site. Using article writing and submission can provide permanent 1 way links to increase your link popularity. Search engines are a source of visitors and a way that people can find your home on the web. Search engines are also paying major attention to rss feeds right now so you want to ensure your site is rss compatible.

Search engine marketing gets the initial interest, but the web site makes the sale.If properly implemented, this will turn a visitor into a customer.Search engine optimization and marketing your site/company is extremely important and you should be focused on delivering targeted traffic and increasing sales from your website.Search engine marketing is one of the internet marketing areas that you should endeavour to specialise in to help you build a long successful client list .

Search engine optimization entails writing keyword-rich meta tags and enhanced content for your website based on targeted online research. Once the seo is implemented on the site, you can enroll the website into different search engines, such as google, yahoo, msn, and other major engines.

Online and e-mail discussion groups are some of the easiest ways to mingle with your potential customers. These groups are usually clubs of regulars, so get to know the people there on a human level, not just as a web address. Online marketers have the luxury of targeting by activity, for example, a kayak company can post advertisements on kayaking and canoing websites with the full knowledge that the audience has a related interest.

Web surfers read at a more frantic pace than even newspaper readers. Your job as a marketer is complicated because visitors to web sites are used to ads, sales pitches and offers. Web pages generally rank higher if they have many other web pages and web sites linking to them. Therefore you need to invest your time and energy ,into finding the tools and know-how ,to increase the number of visitors to your website. All of the major search engines will be able to place your companys site high in their rankings as a result of specific search terms used relating to your products and services.

Article advertising is one great way towards building your success online. If you only utilize your resources and creativity properly, it will bring your site to its peak. Adopting social media marketing has been difficult for the B2B business community. However a recent study has revealed that 69 of B2B buyers use social media to assist them in business development and decision making.

Interactive marketing is often thought of as only being web-based. But i certainly see the web as just the end result of an integrated marketing program. If you can develop and harness a passion for creating online advertising and online marketing solutions that achieve measurable results. You my friends will not only add value and business to your own sites but also be able to market that expertise to others. As the online community value vision, creativity and hard work conducted with respect and an unwavering sense of accountability.

Everything i have said above,is to try and help you make a decision on what you need to do to succeed online. Some of these tasks you can do for yourself quite easily, in fact probably most depending on your availability of time and level of commitment. My suggestions can definitely help you make more money from your internet presence, if you implement the stratagies i have provided to your business .

There are many proven internet marketing methods on the cutting edge of website promotion, and you can maximize your return on investment by implementing even just a few of them.

Providing What Attendees Want at Your Trade Show Exhibits

A trade show exhibit is a practical tool for expanding product recognition, brand awareness, and reaching new customers. In order for a business to capitalize on the investment and stand out from the masses of other trade show exhibits, it necessary to provide exactly what trade show attendees desire.

There are several things common in trade shows that will assist a business in deciding the main factors that drive people to and from a trade show exhibit. While coming up with a marketing plan for a trade show exhibit, businesses should jump into the shoes of the attendees instead of executing an exhibit that works only for the business. Trade shows are loud, huge, and even exhausting. It is not always easy for a trade show exhibit to get attention.

Keep Your Information Short and Snappy

The enormous scale of trade show exhibits often leads to data overload for trade show attendees. When only given a millisecond to make a point, producing visually attractive information that is short, snappy, and gets to the point can mean getting read versus getting tossed.

If an attendee reads your information, you are more likely to have a positive follow up reaction and may even turn that prospect into a customer.

Give Gifts and Prizes

Who doesn't love getting a prize? Giveaways are a wonderful way to drive attendees to your trade show exhibit. An enticing giveaway, which will lead attendees to want to learn more about your company, is usually something simple and considerate. For example, a sturdy canvas bag (with your business logo) is a helpful and considerate way for you to assist attendees in carrying around all of the information they collect during the trade show. A small, battery operated fan is a thoughtful gift for tired and hot attendees. A cute toy is a helpful gift for parents lugging around cranky children.

Make sure you brand your giveaway items with your business logo and contact information, especially your website. By branding your giveaways, you strengthen your brand, and you receive free advertising every time attendees use your giveaways.

Prizes always draw a good crowd. Prizes will generate a buzz of excitement and suspense around your trade show exhibit. The opportunity to win a great prize will drive attendees to you and will bring them back at the time of the prize drawing.

Prizes ultimately provide multiple contact opportunities with attendees, including before, during, and after the trade show. During these opportunities, businesses should include product or service selling points. For instance, an e-mail about the trade show exhibit prize before the show can also include information about the products or services showcase during the trade show.

offer Complimentary Food and Drinks

Trudging around a huge trade show, exhibit to exhibit, can make a person famished. Consider providing attendees with a small complimentary food or drink. Good examples include mini bottles of water or small bags of pretzels (including your logo, of course). Your welcome gift will produce good feelings and possibly even lead attendees to take a moment to stay at your trade show exhibit for a presentation.

Offer Seating

An often overlooked technique for attracting visitors to your trade show exhibit is to offer a place to sit down. It sounds too simple, but providing seating for tired attendees to rest a moment will attract people. Consider offering simple seating like small benches or office chairs, or go bigger and offer larger comfortable chairs or even extravagant sofas.

A seating area gives your booth sales staff a place to sit down and talk business. Having a spot to get away from the crowd for a business discussion with a prospect brings about a relaxed sale.
