Internet Marketing Elements That May Affect Your Home Based Business

At present, many people are choosing Internet marketing to earn full time income.A lot of individuals who are working at home and managing their home based businesses whether partly or entirely dependant on Internet marketing as an effective source to make money.Regardless it is individual or company, both need to fully understand the concept of Internet Marketing and keep in mind several factors that might really affect their business if not considered.

As any other profession, Internet Marketers are facing some challenges and obstacles which may eventually lead to reduce the chances of their success or in other words slow down the phase of their work. The main challenges are the language and culture barriers that may cause some problems for Internet Marketers while interacting with their customers and other partner websites.

Therefore, there is a pressing need to develop kind of programs that would help in translating any language to different languages that would be understandable to the customer. Not to forget the cultural differences like principles and customs that play a role in a lot of peoples lives and put that in consideration too.

May I also emphasize on the importance of a good management as well as a clear vision while marketing on the internet to cope up with the rapid changes in the market on both local and international levels. Also keep in mind that marketing is a difficult job to perform generally and it might not work if the people working in this field do not understand it very well.

So talking about the Arab World, this might be one of the main challenges that is facing Internet Marketing companies here, considering that what happens in most of the Arabic companies is only an attempt to market electronically but really without any supporting specialty.

Often, these companies fail to copy the means and methods shown in the different internet websites that in many cases do not succeed to communicate the message or to present the overall product to the end customer.Adding to that, according to some online marketing experts, these copied methods will not aim to more than either experimenting what might work and waiting for the reaction or applying the trick and seduce strategies similar to any other traditional marketing transaction.

Privacy and Confidentiality also considered among the obstacles that face people working in this field. In other words, the number of customers who adopt the idea of shopping and dealing through the internet will definitely affect its popularity, especially that most of the electronic transactions require getting some information from customers such as name, nationality, address and payment method. For this reason, there is a need to incorporate special security softwares and plug-ins to maintain the privacy and confidentiality of the commercial transactions and encrypting the electronic payment system to avoid suspicious and fraudulent activities.

Other concerns to the privacy factor include the necessity of introducing the laws and procedures to regulate the internet marketing operations and preserve copying and publishing rights on the web as well as develop the financial and commercial systems to facilitate online marketing activities.

It is also very important to educate and make individuals and organizations aware about the internet and its effects on our modern lives especially in those countries who are still behind in using the internet.

The good news though is in spite of the challenges facing Internet Marketing as discussed above, Information Technology experts are optimistic that Internet Marketing jobs are going to get better opportunities and seekers in the coming days with the wide spread of the internet and the huge circular of commercial and intellectual transactions already happening through it.

International trade Organization for instance, has published a report that illustrates that number of internet users in the world have increased to more than 100 million users in 2005 which 1/3 were from the United States itself. The report has also stated that the expected business transactions that are taking place through the internet will constitute about 70% of the total global trade by 2010.

Tips for Email List Building!

One of the oldest methods in the world of selling products or services has been the venerable mailing list. From old time “direct mail” letters to modern email messages, the “LIST” has almost reached mythical proportions in marketing circles.

And with good reason because lists work! But most marketers are not sure exactly how to start and maintain a good email list.Read the 6 tips below to understand how to increase your email list building skills.

(1) Add a Sign Up For on Every Single Webpage of Your Site

most people both old and new marketers forget this simple concept.

Put your form in front of your visitors’ faces.Go to www.build-own-list.com most people that come to your website will be “tourists” in one second and then they click away gone forever.Others are genuinely interested in what you to offer but either don’t have the need for it at the current time or don’t have the money.Make it easy for those interested to keep in contact with you.Put a sign-up form “above the fold” on each every page.

(2) Tout the Benefits of Joining Your List

On your subscription or landing page, “prove” to potential subscribers that your newsletter will not be (a) spam (b) a waste of their time.

People have lots of info overload in their lives, so they want to read things in their inboxes that are interesting, useful or informative.Offer testimonials, sample messages or an archive of older newsletter issues.Show them “what’s in it for me”.

(3) Offer Special Opt-in Incentives

Okay, this seems like a bribe right?

So?People have spam on top of spam, piling into their inboxes everyday and most of them of very tired of it.By creating a really good special report, giving away discount coupons, or great video or pod cast series, you are offering a bit of carrot to a very timid gun-shy rabbit. You drop a little carrot here; a little lettuce there, and soon, they will come of their holes and take a full nibble of what you to offer. So start developing that bunny food.

(4) Use basic SEO Tactics

The most underutilized SEO (Search Engine Optimization) tip, I know about is page title names.

Most people either don’t know or don’t bother to rename their webpage titles to reflect the content of the page.Say you write a serious kick-butt article on list building but on your website it’s named “list1.html”, “list2.html”.Give the search engines and potential prospects a chance to find you!You could rename them, “how-list-building-rocks.html” or “increase-profits-with-list-building.html”.Be clear about what’s on the page.

(5) Use Pay-per-Click Ads to Drive Traffic

if you have the budget, you can use something like Google’s Adwords program to push traffic to your email subscription landing page.

Go to www.freelist-pro.com you can select the keywords you want to use and then create a campaign around them, using classified like ads to get people to sign up.Make sure you have a great landing page, because every person who “clicks away” without signing up costs you money!

(6) Run a “Membership Drive”

Ask your current readers to help you get more subscribers.

Set up “Send to a Friend” options on your website and ask people to send emails to their friends and business associates asking them to sign up.Give away a special report or coupons or some kind of prize to person who has the most “friends” to sign up.

By using these six tips for email list building, should you be well on your way to developing an awesome email list and powerful downline.

Autoresponders Are Essential For Email Marketing

If you have an online business but are not happy with the present level of income being generated by your website, then this article is for you. Most webmasters do not fully understand what it takes to close a sale, and as a result, they simply put up a website, post their products or information about their services, and expect their website to do the selling for them. However it often takes more than that to convert site visitors into buyers of your products or services.

The solution is to use autoresponders. An autoresponder is a program that sends a series of emails to someone after they have submitted their email address on an online form. Depending upon what you are pitching, you may need to send three, five, or even more emails in order to hook a certain customer and persuade them to make a purchase.

The best way to convince someone to submit their email address on your website is to basically compel them to do so in order to receive certain information. You should have a simple online form on your homepage with a brief introduction as to what you are offering, and then you should make an enticing claim about your products or services, and then immediately after that there should be a short, simple form that requests that the visitor provide his or her name and email address in order to receive information about the claim you are making.

For example, if your website provides search engine marketing advice, then you might want to make a claim that you have put together a full-proof way to climb to the top of the search engines. You would then prompt the visitor to provide their name and email address on the online form so that the information can then be sent to that person via email.

Subsequent to their submission, the autoresponder, which you will need to install on your website with the help of a programmer, immediately sends out an email that provides some information and then offers a product or service related to the information, such as software or any sort of product that relates to the subject of the email.

Your autoresponder needs to be programmed to then send out another email to that same person after a certain amount of time has elapsed. Depending upon what you are selling, you may want to wait 24 hours before the next email is sent, or maybe longer. The autoresponder continues to follow up with the customer on a regular basis without you actually having to send additional emails on your own. If the emails are persuasive, you might eventually be able to close the sale.

In order to install an autresponder on your website, you will need to either hire a programmer who knows how to create the program, or you can pay for an outside service service such as AWeber or GetResponse. The outside service provides the form and collects and stores the email addresses for you, and sends out the emails for you. These sorts of services normally run between 15 to 30 per month.

I recommend that you hire a programmer to install an autoresponder directly on your website rather than using an outside service. Those email addresses are like currency; every time someone submits their email address to you, that email address should not only go into the autoresponder program, but it should also be stored in a separate database. Later on, after a succession of emails has been sent to a certain person through your autoresponder program, you can send offers for other products and services to all of the email addresses you have collected.

I hope the information presented here has convinced you to start using autoresponders. Just remember to make sure that the autoresponder you are using provides the person receiving the emails with a way to unsubscribe from your mailing list, otherwise you will be accused of sending spam. It is possible to build an entire business on using nothing but autoresponders to do the selling. Just make sure you use a persuasive subject for each email you send so that the recipient will be so enticed by the subject of the email that they will open the message rather than hastily deleting it from their inbox.
